About the Bar
In Norse mythology, the Valkyries were fierce shieldmaidens whom Odin sent to battlefields to choose which slain warriors were worthy of going to Valhalla. These legendary women were equipped with supernatural powers and were often depicted with helmets, swords, shields, and winged horses.
This soap is topped with Icelandic Black Sand and is stamped with the Vegvisir, an Icelandic stave often used by more modern followers of the Norse gods. This stave is said to help its wearer navigate through bad weather and is nicknamed “the Viking Compass,” despite having no proven ties to the Viking era.
